Rarest Stanley Cups Colour List

Posted Fri Jul 03 2026

Chances are, wherever you are right now, you’ve spotted a Stanley Cup, whether that's on your desk, in your tote bag, wedged into your car’s cup holder, or staring back at you from a 2 a.m. TikTok scroll.

Much like the recent frenzy over Labubu dolls, these tumblers have taken over, with viral restock videos, colourway countdowns, and celebrity fans like Adele driving the hype even higher.

But here’s the thing: not all Stanley Cups are created equal. Some shades drop and disappear in minutes, leaving behind crashed websites and resale markups.

So naturally, we did the digging. Ahead are the five hardest-to-get Stanley tumblers, which, unsurprisingly, are the ones fetching eye-watering prices on the resale market.

Starbucks x Stanley Phillippines Exclusive Quencher “Blue”

1. Starbucks x Stanley Philippines Exclusive Quencher “Blue”

The “Blue” Stanley Quencher, also known as “Tiffany Blue,” is one of the rarest tumblers in the Stanley collection.

Released as an exclusive item for the Philippines in 2023 in collaboration with Starbucks, this 40-oz tumbler is nearly impossible to find in retail stores. With minimal online information available about this cup, its scarcity makes it a coveted piece.

The resale value of this Quencher often reaches around $1,000, far exceeding the original price of a typical Stanley Quencher (£50). If you’re lucky enough to own this limited-edition cup, it’s definitely a collector's item.

Lainey Wilson x Stanley Quencher “Watermelon Moonshine”

2. Lainey Wilson x Stanley Quencher “Watermelon Moonshine”

There’s a bit of a theme with this list; you’ll come to realise, the further you read on, that collaborations are at the heart of exclusivity. The Lainey Wilson x Stanley Quencher team-up, for instance, is another incredibly rare colourway that was released to celebrate the American country music singers' 2023 single Watermelon Moonshine.

This Quencher features a unique watermelon-inspired colour scheme with copperish red and green hues. Alongside its striking appearance, the resale price of this cup is a clear indicator of its rarity. Due to its limited availability, acquiring one of these tumblers is challenging, making it one of the most exclusive Stanley Cups on the market today.

AntiSocialSocialClub x Stanley Jealousy Quencher “White”

3. AntiSocialSocialClub x Stanley Jealousy Quencher “White”

Back again with another collaboration, although this one is with the popular Los Angeles–based streetwear brand AntiSocialSocialClub, or ASSC. That point is made quite clear through its design, with the Quencher featuring ASSC branding in grey on the side of this subtle white tumbler.

Despite its minimalist design, this is one of the rarest Stanley Cups around, as far as we could see. Not only does it boast a high resale value well over its original retail price, but you’d be hard-pressed to find much information about it online. All you’re really presented with are listings to buy one on the likes of StockX and Grailed, thus indicating just how rare this Quencher is. We’re not surprised, though; ASSC is a hugely popular brand, so a collaboration with Stanley 1913 was always going to be a hit.

Starbucks x Stanley Target Exclusive Quencher “Winter Pink”

4. Starbucks x Stanley Target Exclusive Quencher “Winter Pink”

Released in January 2024, the Target-exclusive Starbucks x Stanley Quencher is the newest colourway on this list, yet it has already earned a reputation for being one of the rarest. There’s a reason multiple Target workers were alleged to be fired for buying them, and that’s because they knew, like most of us, that this Starbucks collaboration would be a hit. Being a store-exclusive, too, the stock of the “Winter Pink” Quencher was always going to be limited.

As seen all over TikTok, chaos ensued in Target stores upon its release, and, as a result of this pandemonium, the Quencher now commands a seriously high price tag on the resale market. Given this is both an exclusive and a collaboration, though, this colourway was always going to become one of the rarest Stanley Cups around.

Starbucks x Stanley Holiday 2023 Quencher “Cherry Red”

5. Starbucks x Stanley Holiday 2023 Quencher “Cherry Red”

Sticking with Starbucks and the coffeehouse’s “Cherry Red” Quencher, released in collaboration with Stanley 1913 for the 2023 holiday season. Well, that’s not strictly true, as this stylish metallic red design was supposedly first introduced in May 2023, but was brought back in November and was once again a hit among fans of the Quencher model.

As shown by our list so far, it’s no surprise this thing was as popular as it was, seeing as it was released in partnership with Starbucks. You’ve probably guessed already that this Quencher is incredibly expensive to buy second-hand, which is your only option to get one, as you won’t find this cup listed by a retailer. This is almost exclusively down to its initial popularity, reducing its recirculation supply, and causing it to become rarer than most Stanley Cups today.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Got questions about the Stanley Cup craze? Here are some quick answers to the most common ones.

What is special about the Stanley Quencher?

The Stanley Quencher stands out for combining practicality with style.

Built from recycled stainless steel with vacuum insulation, it can keep drinks hot for up to seven hours, cold for 11, and iced for two days, making it highly functional for daily use. Its large 40-ounce capacity also appeals to those wanting to stay hydrated throughout the day without constant refills.

However, the Quencher’s popularity owes much to its sleek design and wide range of colours, turning it into a fashionable accessory as well as a practical item. Collaborations, such as the Starbucks x Stanley limited releases, and celebrity endorsements, like Adele using one on Carpool Karaoke, have further fuelled demand.

Social media is the biggest factor in the Stanley Cups' "special" factor, though. TikTok, especially, has also amplified its status, making it not just a water bottle but a cultural trend.

How to spot a fake Stanley Cup?

Genuine Stanley Quenchers are made from high-quality stainless steel, so if the material feels flimsy or lightweight, that’s a red flag.

The logo should be crisp, centred, and etched cleanly; not blurry or peeling away.

Packaging is another clue, as authentic cups come in sturdy, branded boxes with proper labelling.

Finally, the price can be telling; if it’s dramatically cheaper than retail, it’s likely not the real deal. When in doubt, buy directly from Stanley or trusted retailers to avoid being caught out.

Are rare Stanley Cups always limited edition releases?

Yes, most rare Stanley Cup colours are either limited editions or special releases.

With unique designs, these special editions are usually produced in small quantities to celebrate milestones, anniversaries, or specific celebrities, which is why collectors tend to pursue them as long-term investments.

They’re not your everyday Stanley Cups. Instead, think of them like exclusive drops in the trainer world. They're highly coveted and often disappear fast. So, owning one isn’t just about having a cup; it's more about owning something unique, interesting, and only available while stocks last.

Are discontinued Stanley Quenchers worth more?

Often, yes. Once a popular colour is retired, demand from collectors may drive resale prices significantly above retail, especially if the tumbler is unused.

That's the case with all the entries above. Every special edition release has had a limited run on shelves and online. Now, though, they're no longer available to buy new, so collectors have to turn to second-hand markets to purchase these limited releases. That vastly reduces their availability, especially for completely unused Stanley Quenchers.
